B50 .22 caliber "Customer comment"
Christiane, When I ordered the B-50 in .22 caliber from Pellettrap I was not sure what to expect but thought that I would give you a try. In the past I have only seen air rifles produced in China and thought they looked cheap, quality was non-existent, but for the price people paid for them I reckon they got what they paid for. So it was with reservations that I opened the box on the B-50 expecting the worse. What I got, as you know, was a nice looking rifle. The bluing is excellent and the stock is super nice. The finish on the stock is perfectly done and the hardwood used is a nice pecan in color. Fit was good and after I closely examined the machining of the metal I can find nothing to complain about. Maybe you don't remember but I am left handed, you told me that other lefties had been satisfied with the stock and so am I. It shoulders well, my eye lines up with the scope like it should and most important I am comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that a packet of spare o-rings and Allen wrenches came with the rifle, thats a nice touch. I have not tested it extensively but have sighted it in and shot a sub one inch group a 50 yards with JSB exact pellets. I have not chronographed the velocity as yet either, but I can tell its somewhere over 900fps with the 16 grain JSB pellets. So far I would say this rifle rates right up there with anything coming out of Europe. There is one thing I feel like you should mention to the factory guys though and that is the trigger. While the one on mine is OK in the pull and breaking department the trigger blade itself has a rather unusual and I might add over exaggerated curve to it. Not something I can't get use to but something that does not compliment the other fine features of the product. Well I just wanted to say thanks for your great service and for a fine product at a very reasonable price. Joe H.
